On February 27, 2016 I had the privilege to speak at the Young Women's Leadership Symposium. These girls got up early on a Saturday to come learn from local women leaders. I was honored to talk with them about value in a way that was tangible, interactive, and fun! As part of my presentation to these future women leaders I wanted to show them an empowering message of why it's important to know your value. So I asked a handful of success women to put their brave faces on camera and answer the following question:
"What do you know about your value now that you wish you would have known when you were in high school?"
I am so proud of these women and how the video turned out. More importantly I am proud that the girls who attended the event clapped loudly & immediately when the video was over. And not the fake, obligatory kind of clapping but the spontaneous, enthusiastic kind of clapping. The kind clapping you do when you really mean it. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Check out the video below and please share it with anyone who might need to see this message today.
